Sorry for the lack of content…

But this is road trip season! Heading out of town on another trip tomorrow, once I’m back I’ll try to get into a regular posting schedule. Fall and winter are my boring time of the year, so I’ll have more time for the blog. One of the awesome things about nursing – when you only work three nights a week, you can spend a lot of time exploring.

The next move in Israel vs Palestine

Now Israel has seized an additional 1000 acres of Palestinian land. This land is owned by people. Innocent people. Israel has, through superior force of arms, forcibly confiscated this land. How can anyone who values individual rights not condemn Israel’s actions? They have killed hundreds of children, and and more than 1000 civilians, in their latest offensive in Gaza. Now they steal more land in the West Bank. Should we support Hamas? No! But we should have stopped supporting Israel a long time ago too. They are not our ideological allies, they’re yet another Middle Eastern theocracy – working on expunging their religious enemies from their territory.
